Peter Barrand joined Newable in 2019 and is Managing Director of Newable Capital.

Formerly of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Peter joined Newable from Ignition Corporate Finance where he was a Founding Partner. Ignition is a highly successful London based Corporate Finance Advisory firm focused on sell-side advice for UK SME private companies and MBO advice to Private Equity Investors and management teams. The partnership’s expertise is in transactions less than £25m enterprise value across multiple sectors.

With over six years of experience within Venture Capital and Private Equity,  Yann joined Newable in 2017, within the Newable Ventures team. During this time, Yann was responsible for sourcing and appraising investment opportunities with a focus on highly scalable software and IP-based technology businesses (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning and downstream space technology).

Now a member of the Newable Capital team, Yann specialises in helping businesses drive optimum shareholder value, through developing a thorough understanding of the business.  He is responsible for sourcing and investing in sizeable transactions as well as managing the portfolio of companies.

Yann has led and participated in several projects covering a range of business and industry challenges including operational improvement, analysis of business growth options, and strategy implementation.

Prior to Newable, Yann worked at Airbus before joining LBA (London Business Angels) as a Network Manager.

Yann has a MSc in Corporate and Market Finance from INSEEC Business School Grande Ecole. He has also passed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level I (CFA) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Yann speaks French and English fluently, and outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities such as mountaineering, surfing, and skiing.

Lloyd Wuth joined the Newable Capital team in October 2020 as an Investment Manager. At Newable Capital, Lloyd originates and executes new investments whilst supporting portfolio companies on their growth and value creation journey.

Lloyd joined us from KPMG’s London Private Equity Deal Advisory team where he spent almost 4 years working on a wide range of deals, advising businesses and private equity clients across sectors including technology, healthcare, and business services.

Previously to this role, Lloyd worked in both Audit and Management Consulting at KPMG, in South Africa and London, with a key focus on large, global banking clients. Whilst at KPMG he also qualified as a Charted Accountant.

Lloyd has earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business science, with honours in Finance, from the University of Cape Town.

Lloyd is a keen sportsman and passionate supporter of the Springbok rugby team. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Richard joined Newable in October 2018 as a Business Finance Partner, working directly for Peter Barrand and the Newable Capital team, before being promoted to Investment Manager in October 2021.

At Newable Capital,  Richard specialises in reviewing and improving the information available to management as well as implementing new finance reporting within the new acquisitions. Richard is also involved in originating and executing new investments within the business.

Having finished a law degree, Richard started work with several UK-based start-ups across technology, retail and hospitality sectors. Richard qualified as a Charted Accountant while working for a property development company which specialised in super-prime investments and developments across London, New York and Europe.

Outside of work, Richard spends much of his free time playing and watching rugby. He also enjoys cooking, music and photography.
