NPI to lead discussion on Space investing at European summit
Anthony Clarke from Newable Private Investing has been asked to chair an important panel discussion on "Early Stage Investing in New space" at the European Business Angels Network (EBAN) taking place in Luxembourg on 22nd - 23rd October.
This is a sector where the UK is a genuine world leader and the government is targeting a market size of £40bn in a few years.
EBAN is the pan-European representative for the early stage investor gathering over 150 member organizations from more than 50 countries today. Established in 1999 by a group of pioneer angel networks in Europe with the collaboration of the European Commission and EURADA, EBAN represents a sector estimated to invest 7.5 billion Euros a year and playing a vital role in Europe’s future, notably in the funding of SMEs. EBAN fuels Europe’s growth through the creation of wealth and jobs.
Newable has been a trail blazer in creating an early stage investment ecosystem being a founder investor in the Serpahim Space Fund and launching the Space Tech Angels programme. In fact, in the 18 months of the programme, NPI has closed 10 investments into early stage businesses.
