Newable fuels the ambition of female entrepreneurs.
Newable's Innovation team recently conceived, curated and delivered a ground breaking programme on behalf of Enterprise Europe Network designed to unleash the potential of female entrepreneurs.
Fuelling Ambition.
The programme is aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs across the journey from inspiration to investment, providing inspiration as well as practical guidance on where to find strategic advice, grant, loan and equity funding, as well as help with routes to market and exporting.
The conference, which took place at the Institution of Engineering & Technology in Savoy Place, featured a range of business people, motivational speakers and influencers. It took the form of networking, presentations and panel discussion. The aim was for business women to join together to engage, network and learn from one another and from a powerful line-up of speakers who shared their own career and business experiences.
Key note speakers.
The conference heard from a range of inspirational speakers. These included Sue Lawton currently working with the UN High Level Panel for Women’s Economic Empowerment, Sharon Vosmek, CEO of Astia, the pre-eminent organization working to ensure the success of high-growth start-ups founded and led by women, and Sarah Hunter, the World Cup winning England Rugby captain.
Top Panellists
The panellists included Dr Emily Nott – Lead for Diversity and Inclusion for Innovate UK, Doniya Son of Tech UK, Rebecca Porter of BlueKit Medical, and Megan Thomas of Flock Global.
